How We Help The Less Fortunate in Pulaski County

"I tell you the truth,
whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine,
you did for me."        Matthew Ch 25:40

We want to first thank our bell-ringers, donors, and volunteers
who make all of this possible!

In Pulaski County the Salvation Army is made up of 100% volunteers.
There are no paid employees, no buildings and no vehicles.  Our "overhead" is
very low; this makes every one of our donated dollars go further!

We carefully allocate our dollars where they will help those less fortunate.

-Part of the money we raise is allocated for "welfare assistance"
to help people avoid eviction, avoid electrical disconnect, pay for a
prescription, etc. This assistance is restricted to residents of Pulaski County .

-Another part of the money we raise is allocated for approved programs
that help the less fortunate in Pulaski County.  Examples: the holiday food basket program, holiday gifts to the elderly, the Genesis Program, the School Backpack Food program, etc.

Seen below is the information for the 2017-2018 budget so you can see
exactly how we help those less fortunate in Pulaski County.
